G-Dragon Celebrates His Birthday with a New Instagram Account
The Big Bang member and legendary K-pop artist looks to be gearing up for a solo concert.
Legendary K-pop artist and musician, G-dragon recently celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday and he surprised fans with a brand new Instagram account. With the user handle titled, 'fanplusonedotcom', the page currently just has banner photos congratulating the pop star on his big day and has "FAM" written in its Instagram bio. It seems to be an artist-led fan page as there is currently little information on what 'fanplusonedotcom' exactly is but netizens are speculating that this could signal a new chapter for the beloved artist. Rumours of a comeback and a new solo comeback kicked into overdrive as fans discovered and shared G-dragon's new social media page.
This also comes after local news and tabloid reports of G-Dragon preparing for a solo concert in November at Gocheok Sky Dome, one of South Korea's biggest stadium venues. While it hasn't been officially confirmed by G-dragon himself, his talent agency, Galaxy Corporation has stated that, "he is preparing for a comeback in the second half of 2024, but nothing is confirmed" when asked by local media. Hence, we can safely say that G-dragon will be rise again soon though whether he will be doing so via a massive solo concert is still up in the air. But signs all point positively to a potential solo concert very soon.
G-dragon is, of course, a name that is not only synonymous with K-pop but also fashion. One of the trailblazers of the genre and leader of iconic boy group Big Bang, G-dragon has also achieved incredible solo success with hit albums like Heartbreaker and Coup d'Etat.
