Corenswet has starred in a lot of movies and TV shows since breaking out in Hollywood in 2018 in the political drama movie, Affairs of State. Since then, David Corenswet has proven his skills across genres.
He starred in movies and TV shows like the Netflix series The Politician, in 2018, which was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. His role in another Netflix series from Ryan Murphy, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sex-and-fashion-in-ryan-murphys-hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood</a> (2020), solidified his skills in drama while his character in the A24 film, Pearl (2022), brought him squarely into horror.

What has garnered a lot of attention since the announcement is that Corenswet's depiction of the Man of Steel will be the first Jewish Superman.
