Creative Director Sabato De Sarno explores the amalgamation of fashion and art in his latest collection for Gucci, soon to be showcased in Milan at 10 pm Singapore time tonight.
As a teaser for the show, the house unveiled an art wall in Shanghai, designed by Valerio Eliogabalo Torrisi, with the words "Ogni tanto, lo so, sogni anche tu, e sogni di noi" (translated to "Every now and then, I know, you dream too, and you dream of us") painted on it.
"I began to mentally isolate fragments of sentences and I realised that some words, simple, linear, one next to the other, created images in my head," says Torrisi. "Images that spoke of emotions that I was living."
