Louis Vuitton Teams Up With Formula 1 For the 2025 Australian Grand Prix
The French fashion house just hit the fast lane.
Louis Vuitton is switching gears and heading to Melbourne as the Title Partner of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2025. The collaboration marks the start of the new F1 season and brings together the two worlds.
At the heart of the partnership is a custom-made Trophy Trunk, handcrafted at Louis Vuitton’s Asnières workshop in France. The trunk, wrapped in the iconic Monogram canvas and detailed with a bold V in Australia’s green and gold, was designed to carry the winning trophy. The House has deep ties to automotive culture. In 1897, for instance, Georges Vuitton was already creating trunks for the growing world of car travel, using a custom canvas called “Vuittonite” to withstand rough conditions on the road.
This isn’t a first at all. From 2021 to 2024, Louis Vuitton crafted Trophy Trunks for the Monaco Grand Prix, blending its heritage with the high-octane world of Formula 1. Now, as part of a broader partnership between LVMH and Formula 1, the Maison takes center stage in Melbourne, adding another chapter to its long-standing relationship with sports.
As the first race of the season, the Australian Grand Prix sets the tone for what’s to come, and Louis Vuitton’s involvement signals something big. For both the House and Formula 1, it’s about pushing boundaries and chasing that next victory.
