It seems that the feeling of standing on stage by yourself versus together with 2AM members is completely different.
Yes, it's much easier to do group work. It's only natural that four people share the work together. If you have the same song, you can express it together and more diversely, but with solo, it's not the case, so the burden and responsibility is greater. Still, I have the joy of sharing with people my voice. I like my voice and think this choice is the right one. I am confident to some extent in that respect.
What kind of music do you usually listen to these days?
When I work on Im Seong-ong's album, I listen to a lot of chart music and try to grasp the trend these days. My favorite music is important, but I think it is also important to play music that the public wants.
Your song with IU, 'Nagging' is still recieiving a lot of love, despite being made 10 years ago. It is also called 'Duet Artisan.' Can we expect a duet song comparable to this?
I personally love duet songs, so I have tried many things. In the meantime, I mainly collaborated with female musicians, but I want to try various musicians and duets regardless of gender. We are preparing hard now, so you can definitely look forward to it.

Where do you find your biggest joy these days?
With my family and friends. I thought the same thing in my twenties, but I was constantly busy and missed out, but nowadays, I think my time with family and friends are really precious. It has also had a great influence on me that I've recently had a nephew. When I do this, I sometimes feel like a tightrope. There are many times when you become extremely sensitive. I always think that the people next to me always give me real comfort. I don't plan anything special to meet with my friends, but I think it's a necessary and important thing in everyday life to just eat, chat and play.
How do you get along with 2AM members nowadays?
We meet very often. Kwon went to the gym together with me two days ago, and Jinwoon, who is still in the military, meets up with me every time he goes on vacation. I wanted to meet again next week, but Jinwoon's vacation schedule is not easy, so I think I'll probably gather only three of the members. We are always the same when we meet. We advise on each other's activities and listen to each other's concerns. The possibility of future 2AM activities is always open. Old fans are now married and have babies, but it would be great if one day 2AM comes to hear their voices up close and see their faces. Imagine being happy enough.
