Lucas Ossendrijver Leaves Lanvin
After 13 years as the head of the artistic direction of the men's collections, Dutch Lucas Ossendrijver leaves Lanvin. His pre-collection, currently presented to buyers at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, will be his final contribution to the house which was founded in 1889. Lanvin is also expected to temporarily withdraw from the upcoming Fashion Week Men's in January 2019.
Ossendrijver has managed to stay the course despite the turbulence experienced by the fashion house after the hasty departure of Alber Elbaz end 2015. Unanimously recognized by industry professionals, the Dutch designer's sophisticated and lightweight collections are still among the most anticipated over the seasons. He was one of the first to perfectly combine tailoring with streetwear.
Lanvin has already settled on Bruno Sialelli, former artistic director of the Loewe men's line, as Ossendrijver's replacement.
