Rapper Jay Park is Gucci's Newest Global Brand Ambassador
Gucci has just added a famous name to its brand ambassador list, and it's the handsome rapper Jay Park
Luxury fashion house Gucci has appointed Jay Park as the brand's newest representative. Earlier in May 2022, the hip-hop and R&B artist hinted at his final collaboration with Gucci when he attended the Gucci Cruise 2024 fashion show, held at Kyungbokgung Palace in Seoul.
Joining current brand ambassadors Shin Min Ah, Lee Jung Jae, NewJeans' Hanni, and more, Jay Park is expected to participate in new projects and promotional campaigns, helping to expand his global appeal beyond music and into the world of luxury fashion.
In addition to Gucci's official announcement, Jay Park shared the news on his official Instagram with the caption: "Your new Gucci global brand ambassador". There, the artist also promoted his upcoming single titled "Why" which will be released on November 17.
In the post, Jay Park sported various Gucci products, from iconic loafers to a bright blue cardigan.
Since entering the music industry in 2008, Jay Park has shown his talents as a singer, songwriter, dancer, and producer. Recently, he also attracted attention when he founded his own soju brand called Won Soju and was supported by many fans.
Jay has received various awards throughout his career including Songwriter of the Year and Best R&B/Soul Album at the Korean Music Awards. He also won Artist of the Year at the Korean Hip-Hop Awards. These days, it's hard to think of Korean hip-hop without mentioning Jay Park.
