The BTS x James Jean Exhibition ‘Seven Phases’ is Coming to Singapore in December
The collaborative exhibition will be on display at the Singapore Science Centre
Seven Phases, the exhibition put together by renowned Taiwanese-American artist James Jean, inspired by global idols BTS, will be arriving in Singapore this December. The collaborative exhibition will be shown in Annexe Hall 3 of the Science Centre in Singapore from December 16, 2023 to February 25, 2024.
Driven by the creativity and artistry of BTS, the exhibition’s direction takes on James Jean’s typical artistic fantasies and showcases a multi-medium display of visual art, clothing items and key objects, significant to the BTS boys. Inspired by the boy band’s Yet to Come era, James Jean has interpreted each member of the Grammy-nominated group as flowers, embodying their spirits in the likeness of blooms.
Seven Phases first met the public in Seoul, in BTS’ management label’s display space HYBE Insight Museum in 2021. HYBE Insight is also the exhibition arm of the agency. Since its inception, the highly anticipated collaboration has moved to various key cities around the world. In June, it was shown in Frankfurt, Germany, and is currently on display in Manila, the Philippines.
With some members of BTS currently serving their mandatory military service in Korea, the Seven Phases exhibition in Singapore may be the best way for ARMYs to see the boys as a complete group and to immerse themselves in the world of BTS for now. On the music front, ARMYs can finally listen to Jungkook’s debut full-length album Golden which just dropped today.
